Winning in a Network World
Leverage Your Personal Connections
Presenter:
Patrick Nelson, Director iManufacturing Services
Procter & Gamble Company
Rarely is going at it alone a pathway to success. There is one common denominator to sustaining a successful practice: acquiring and sustaining meaningful relationships. Networking is at the very foundation of all business and personal activities. Networking is maintaining regular contact with people for the ultimate purpose of developing productive business and social relationships. It is the sincere and constant effort to help others, anticipating that you will, in turn, be helped. A successful network should contain, at a minimum, the groups below:
- All the people you used to know
- All the people you now know
- All of the people who know you
- All of the people you would like to know
Decide which people on your networking list are strong possibilities for a sustained business relationship. Make these the firm's priority contacts. The question that comes to mind is, how?? Come and learn tips for developing successful relationships.
